IGE Solutions, Inc. works together with IGE Supply Solutions, Inc. and IGE Service Solutions, Inc. in supplying and servicing our customers with machinery and equipment, parts and tooling, and service and support.

IGE’s History

Michael Spellman, the founder and President of IGE, founded the company in 1993. Mr. Spellman has many years of experience (since 1980) in the glass industry, in both industrial sales and company leadership. Carolyn Spellman, IGE’s Vice-President, left a management-level career in the finance industry to oversee the company’s finances and accounting operations. Together, they have successfully guided IGE from a single person company in 1993 to the multi-employee company that it is today. IGE has experienced long-term growth in revenue since its 1993 inception, has no long-term debt, and is proud to have a AAA (triple A) credit rating.

IGE’s Vision

IGE’s goal is to be the leading glass equipment and supplies distributor in North America through a steady, one relationship at a time, managed growth strategy. The company is well on its way to achieving that goal.

Part of this strategy is to brand IGE as a supplier of all the best equipment and supplies the world has to offer. IGE wants to leverage the brand identity that has already been created by the manufacturers represented. All of IGE’s manufacturers’ logos and product names are prominently displayed on the IGE website, in all advertising, at tradeshows, etc. IGE does not want to be seen as the company that manufactures the equipment and supply product, but instead, as the company that brings the manufacturer to the market, supports it, and stands behind it – that “relationship” is the value being added, and represents the future of the company.
