The Alfema Automatic Sand-Blasting Machine consists
of the following components

The box is constructed with hard thick sheet steel with a double coating of paint (gray #7032 and yellow #1028). It is completely insulated and sound – proofed in order to prevent dust and to reduce noise.
The door is large (600 X 1000 or 23.5 in. X 39"). The door is located on the front side of the box, allowing the operator easy set up of the guns. The door is equipped with a stop/safety micro switch and has a porthole and rubber sleeves for possible manual operation.
The side opening is 75mm or 3" to permit the passage of glass with studs. The glass is positioned on a motorized transfer belt and is supported by an inclined frame made of galvanized iron bars mounted on small plastic wheels. The speed can be selected from 100 to 500mm per minute or 4" to 19".
The sand box is located under the cabinet and has inclined sides to allow a good recovery of the abrasive material.

ABRASIVE SPRAY GUN
The machine is equipped with five (5) automatic spray guns and a manual spray gun and trigger.
The aerodynamics of the guns has been carefully studied and perfected by the Alfema team. It allows for a very high range of the air/abrasive mixture over a wide treated surface and assures exceptional speed of the sand bath.
Each gun is endowed with a special feeder placed in the lower part of the box containing the abrasive material.
The pressure of all the guns can be regulated between 0 to 10 atmospheres using a relevant manometer.

Spray Gun Handling
The spay gun is on a robot system adjustable for height and speed, and it is placed on the front side of the box.

CONTROL PANEL
The control panel is located on the side of the box and contains a PLC manufactured by Seimens, which keeps the system controlled. 24 Volts of electricity operate the panel.

RACK
The machine is equipped with:
Two (2) racks, one on the right and one on the left. The size is 2500mm for each size or 98 inches. It is possible to add more if ever necessary. The height is 1500mm or 59 inches.
One (1) internal rack with a size of 1600mm X 1500mm or 63" X 59".
The exit rack is equipped with a stop switch to avoid glass from falling.

AIR DUST COLLECTOR (CYCLONE)
Capacity 2500 cubic meters per hour.
Size: 600mm X 600mm X 2100 ht. Or 23.5 inches X 23.5 inches X 82.5 inches.
The dust collector is used for collecting and selecting the abrasive material coming from the sand bath box and to send it on to the filtering system.

AUTOMATIC FILTERING GROUP
Automatic de-dusting.
Size 920mm X 1310mmX 2550mm or 36" X 51.5" X 100".

Special note: Alfema equipment runs substantially cleaner with no need to install catch bucket at end of conveyor.
